Venetian SBQ Answers here! [errata corrected]

I understand that some of you may have difficulties getting the answers to the Venetian SBQ that we did during the Holiday lesson.

So, to ease your worry, I uploaded the answers to Google Docs for you to view. I know it looks cluttered and messy and all, but that'll have to do for now. Besides, it could be worse.

If you need to, please check out the link below.

P.s.: Thanks to Donavan for spotting the word 'Vatican' being used in place of 'Venetian'. Apparently, I'm mentally in the wrong part of Italy.

For the toots who claim to not know the class blog URL...

Well, apparently, 4saints08.blogspot.com is too difficult to remember.

So, 4SA, here's a guide on how to get to our class blog via Google Search.

Here's the IDIOT-PROOF guide to logging on to 4saints08.blogspot.com, without typing 4saints08.blogspot.com
  1. On your computer, click on your web browser icon. This could be Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari. No Opera. [JOKING!]
  2. Type in your address bar: google.com
  3. Once Google.com loads, type in the following WORD FOR WORD: SASS 4SA 2008
  4. Click the FRICKING "I'm Feeling LUCKY" BUTTON and SHUT UP.
  5. Say WOW. AND then ADD TO BOOKMARK!
Make sure you do steps 4 and 5.

an overview of our term 3 and 4 until our Os!

just see how short it is man, considering only 102 days left(see sidebar)!

Emergency post: SS Holiday Homework.

Sorry for this last minute info. Apparently, aside from checking answers for the Vatican City SBQ, there's a second S.S. Holiday homework that requires you to complete a Source-based Question. NOT THE VATICAN CITY SBQ. THIS IS different.

Please check it out @ the new online learning site.

Not an April Fool's Joke.

Found this site. It's a great tool for randomizing layout of different words.

I'm making a new banner for the class blog using this tool. Watch this space!

Timetable On sidebar

School's starting in a few days' time. Hope your holidays have been fruitful and yet restful. [insert sarcastic joke here.]

Do remember to bring your holiday homework to school, and bring your books.

The timetable is on the online learning [if you haven't read Ms Seah's post.]. But just in case, I also uploaded a JPEG version on this blog. Just scroll down till you see "Semester 2 Timetable" in the sidebar, the section which used to say "Watch This Space". Just click on it to get to the Google Picasa Web page, where you can download it. Yeah, 2-step process. Can't do much about it.

Note that I made a few adjustments in the JPEG: the "Recesses" for Mon-Wed is now one single bar, and I made the teachers and classrooms below each subject grey. Just some simple aesthetic enhancements to make life insignificantly easier, like having an umbrella on a cloudy day. [Get the link?]

Sorry if I posted some random stuff. Been munching on Calbee Potato Chips.

THE BEGINNING OF YOUR FINAL SEMESTER

: ) Guys, you've reached the final leg of your secondary school life journey. Make this last semester your most fruitful and most memorable one! I want to see you all work hard, play hard and be the best you can because you can.

YOUR DIMENSION OF GREATNESS
No one can know the potential,
Of a life that is committed to win;
With courage - the challenge it faces,
To achieve great success in the end!

So, explore the Dimension of Greatness,
And believe that the world CAN be won;
By a mind that is fully committed,
KNOWING the task can be done!

Your world has no place for the skeptic,
No room for the DOUBTER to stand;
To weaken your firm resolution
That you CAN EXCEL in this land!

We must have VISION TO SEE our potential,
And FAITH TO BELIEVE that we can;
Then COURAGE TO ACT with conviction,
To become what GOD MEANT us to be!

So, possess the strength and the courage,
To conquer WHATEVER you choose;
It's the person WHO NEVER GETS STARTED,
That is destined FOREVER to lose!
